Season 2 picks up with Joanne and Noah in the honeymoon phase. The couple has “tabled” their conversation about Joanne converting to Judaism, though the issue lingers throughout the season — especially when Noah is passed over for the head rabbi position at his synagogue. The decision deepens the tension between Joanne and Noah’s mother, who doesn’t believe their relationship will last long-term.

As Joanne navigates her religious journey, hoping to feel a spark, she and Noah face several bumps along the way, from an awkward Valentine’s Day where Noah gifts Joanne the same necklace he once gave his ex, Rebecca, to Noah requesting a night off from her before a big interview. Meanwhile, Joanne’s sister, Morgan, gets engaged to her therapist, Dr. Andy, after only a few weeks of dating, and Joanne thinks it’s a bad idea.

When Joanne gets evicted and Noah doesn’t want to live together yet, it forces a larger conversation between them at the end of Episode 9. Noah reveals that he doesn’t live with her yet because she still hasn’t decided to convert, and he’s afraid that if she moves in, it could be off the table forever. Meanwhile, Joanne doesn’t want to become a different person to please Noah.

In the Nobody Wants This Season 2 finale, tension runs high between Joanne and Noah at Morgan’s engagement party. After nearly breaking up, they try to act like everything’s fine around their loved ones, but everyone can tell something’s wrong. Noah suggests giving Joanne six months to decide about conversion, but she rejects the idea.

Morgan is also having problems with her new fiancé, Andy, and she finally gets the courage to break things off mid-engagement party. She admits she rushed into the engagement because she saw Joanne and Noah’s relationship and wanted to keep up with them.

Noah finally pulls Joanne aside. He tells her there are a hundred different ways he could convince her to stay, but he won’t. “Nothing good happens when it’s forced,” he says. He doesn’t want her to wake up in 20 years and resent him. When she asks what he means, he says he’s accepting the truth of their situation. They break up.

After dropping hints throughout Season 2 about her desire to be independent, Esther finally tells Sasha that although he’s been a great father and a good husband, their relationship isn’t working. “I don’t know why, but what I do know is that it’s me right now, and I can’t fix it while we’re together,” she tells him.

Both heartbroken, Joanne later speaks with Esther, who tells her she’s more Jewish than she thinks. “I don’t really know what you’re waiting for,” Esther says. “The whole thing is just a feeling.” She adds that with or without Noah, Joanne is Jewish.

Joanne runs after Noah, and unbeknownst to her, he’s running after her too. When they finally cross paths, Noah tells Joanne that she’s his soulmate. “I don’t care if you’re Jewish. I don’t care if you’re not Jewish. I choose you. Every time,” he proclaims.

Joanne tells him he’s in luck, and then they kiss before the screen fades to black.

As for what could happen in Season 3, Brody told Parade that he would like to see the couple move in together or get engaged “relatively soon.” Because his character was “so slow on the moving in together” in the second season, Brody believes Noah “needs to make up for it in some way.”

As of Oct. 24, Netflix has not yet renewed Nobody Wants This for a third season. The good news? Lead star Kristen Bell, who also serves as an executive producer on the series, told Parade that the writers’ room has already started for Season 3.

“The writer’s room is working right now,” the actress reveaed. “You never know if you’re gonna be able to shoot because that’s way above our pay grade, and they decide what shows are gonna be shot. But the writer’s room is writing it right now. That we know.”

The same thing happened last year, when the writers’ room was already up and running before the Nobody Wants This Season 2 announcement was made official, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The second season began filming in March 2025.

There’s a good chance fans will learn more about the show’s future in the coming weeks. For reference, Nobody Wants This was renewed for a second season just two weeks after its Season 1 premiere last year. Netflix will likely take several weeks or even months to announce a renewal as it evaluates the show’s viewership metrics.

Nobody Wants This Season 1 premiered on Sept. 26, 2024, and Season 2 dropped on Oct. 24, 2025. If Season 3 follows a similar renewal and production timeline, the next installment would likely return sometime in the fall of 2026.

Stay tuned for updates on a potential Nobody Wants This Season 3.

XRP surges 29.01% as price spikes According to data provided by the source, XRP has seen a decent increase in the quantity of XRP tokens burned as fees over the last day. While XRP saw a sharp resurgence in its price amid shifting investor sentiment over the last day, the positive trend was accompanied by a major surge in its burn activity. XRP burns saw a sharp rise to 676 XRP on Oct. 24 after falling to 524 XRP the previous day. This marks a decent increase of 29% over the last day. With historical records showing that XRP had recorded significantly high burn volumes in the past months, hitting about 4,000 XRP around May, the recent surge witnessed in the metric is not impressive enough. XRP restores hope to investors Although the XRP burn activity in recent days has been moving slow, it signals resurgence in the token’s on-chain activity, fueling hopes for a bigger price rally that could see XRP reclaim the crucial $3 level soon.
