2025/10/27 22:22

In a monumental selection, LIFE AI has been chosen to join the first-ever FastTrack AI Accelerator, Cohort 1 – a program powered by GenAI Fund and accelerated by NVIDIA – designed to fast-track the most promising AI startups toward enterprise adoption, scalable impact, and investment readiness.

The inclusion in the ASEAN region’s number one enterprise startup accelerator helps LIFE AI empower the healthcare industry with greater AI advancements in a shorter amount of time, proving the company with:

  • Access to GPU resources, technical support by NVIDIA experts and other cloud provider resources
  • Enterprise PoC opportunities curated through the GenAI Open Invitation Network
  • Investment evaluation and founding opportunities from GenAI Fund and its partners

But prior to being selected as one of six startups to join Cohort 1 – out of over 300 applicants – LIFE AI has been making massive waves as an intelligent layer for human health – reducing barriers for healthcare product development, while making the process 10x faster and 10x cheaper.

The company – founded by former Google engineering leader, Dr. Tuan Cao, and other engineers and scientists from Cornell University, UC Berkeley, and UCSF – already powers precision health services for over 100,000 paid users across seven countries – including the U.S., Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, and Vietnam.

LIFE AI has over 100 corporate and institutional partners, including research collaborations with scientists from Stanford, Cornell, and UCSF, as well as a vast hospital network across Asia. The company conducted the largest genetic study on autism in Southeast Asia for $10,000, instead of an estimated $1M+, and helped Kalbe Farma – Southeast Asia’s largest pharmaceutical company – launch a personalized stroke prevention product in 6 weeks, instead of the originally planned 24 months.

This dramatic acceleration – reducing a typical 24-month development cycle to just 6 weeks – combined with setting up Southeast Asia’s largest genome sequencing center has served as a blueprint for LIFE AI’s platform capacity and capability, and is a pivotal proof point for the company’s value proposition.

LIFE AI will bring its blossoming revenue model and platform offerings to the FastTrack AI Accelerator, transitioning from a traditional model to an AI-first “Model-as-a-Service” strategy, with a strong emphasis on real products, real customers, and real revenue.

Being selected to such a prestigious program marks an exciting milestone in LIFE AI’s journey to scale AI innovation and drive meaningful impact across Southeast Asia. Over the ensuing 12 weeks, the FastTrack AI Accelerator will provide compute power of up to $1M, technical support from NVIDIA, and hands-on guidance to accelerate impactful outcomes.

LIFE AI is proud to join this pioneering first Cohort that will shape the future of applied AI with innovation, speed, and scale – a journey that will be instrumental in continuing our excellence in providing end-to-end solutions for healthcare product development and natively integrating blockchain for ownership, privacy, and transparency.

Metaplanet Announces ¥75B Share Buyback Program to Strengthen Bitcoin Strategy

The post Metaplanet Announces ¥75B Share Buyback Program to Strengthen Bitcoin Strategy appeared first on Coinpedia Fintech News Metaplanet, widely known as “Japan’s MicroStrategy”, has taken a major step forward in its long-term strategy by launching a 75 billion JPY share repurchase program.  This comes after the company faced a setback with a decline in its mNAV, and aims to make better use of capital and boost returns for shareholders. Metaplanet has formulated a new Capital Allocation Policy to guide financing, investment, and shareholder return decisions. The policy emphasizes disciplined use of preferred and common shares to maximize BTC Yield and long-term corporate value. https://t.co/lMrFJsc9xD— Simon Gerovich (@gerovich) October 28, 2025 Why Metaplanet Is Buying Back Its Own Shares  In its latest disclosure, Metaplanet noted that recent market volatility and a decline in its mNAV have led to its stock being undervalued.  The mNAV compares the company’s enterprise value to the market value of its Bitcoin holdings. When it falls below 1.0x, the company’s shares are seen as trading below their fair value based on BTC reserves.  To address this, Metaplanet launched a capital management plan designed to maximize BTC yield and improve capital efficiency.  Metaplanet’s stock is currently trading at 499 JPY, up 2.5% over the past day and roughly 18% over the last five days. Its mNAV has also recovered to 1.03 as of the time of writing. The buyback program will cover up to 150 million common shares, representing about 13.13% of its total outstanding shares, excluding treasury shares. It will run from October 29, 2025, to October 28, 2026 and buybacks will be conducted through purchases on the Tokyo Stock Exchange under a discretionary trading agreement. $500M Credit Line Announced In order to give the company more flexibility in carrying out the repurchase program, the board has also approved a credit facility with a borrowing limit of up to USD 500 million (around JPY 76.4 billion). This allows the company to secure funds using its Bitcoin holdings as collateral whenever needed. The funds raised could be used for additional Bitcoin purchases, investments in its Bitcoin Income business, or share buybacks.  The credit line also plays a major role in the Company’s financial strategy and is expected to serve as bridge financing ahead of its planned issuance of preference shares.  Metaplanet’s Bitcoin-Centric Capital Strategy Metaplanet has also adopted an updated Capital Allocation Policy designed to maximize sustainable value creation. It will be guided by three fundamental principles. Since April 2025, the company has expanded its Bitcoin Treasury Strategy, now holding 30,823 BTC, making it the fourth-largest public Bitcoin holder globally and the largest in Asia.  The company is also committed to its long-term goal of acquiring 210,000 BTC by the end of 2027. Despite what appears to have been a setback, Metaplanet continues to show strong conviction in Bitcoin’s long-term potential.

Galaxy Digital confirms leveraging Aave for capital efficiency and next-gen DeFi solutions

The post Galaxy Digital confirms leveraging Aave for capital efficiency and next-gen DeFi solutions appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. The company is using Aave to optimize liquidity, manage treasury, and build innovative DeFi products. The development signals the prevailing institutional shift towards DeFi. AAVE has gained more than 5% on the news. Altcoins remained on the radar as they continue to outperform Bitcoin after the September 17 interest rate cut. Amidst the optimism, publicly listed Galaxy Digital has confirmed significant integration with Aave, a leading lending protocol. The financial services company announced that Aave is key to its strategic operations, including treasury undertakings, trading, and lending. The approach aims to reduce dependence on centralized liquidity providers and enhance capital efficiency. According to Galaxy’s Head of Lending, Max Bareiss: Aave has proven to be a highly reliable platform for accessing liquidity. It’s a core venue for borrowing stablecoins against blue-chip assets like BTC and ETH, offering 24/7 availability, without third-party intermediaries. As institutions embrace digital assets, DeFi is emerging as critical financial infrastructure. At Galaxy, we’re integrating @aave into our workflows, not just to manage liquidity, but to transform how capital moves across markets👇 pic.twitter.com/vb00R12BaJ — Galaxy (@galaxyhq) September 18, 2025 Aave’s native token rallied after Galaxy’s announcement, which testified to DeFi’s increasing institutional appeal. Borrowing against top assets The firm primarily uses Aave to borrow stablecoins against established assets like Bitcoin and Ethereum. Leveraging a permissionless network allows Galaxy to escape slow authorization procedures seen in CeFi. That enables its trading desks to access massive liquidity instantly. Meanwhile, the firm uses the borrowed capital to support balance sheet liquidity, institutional lending, and client trading activities. That gives Galaxy a competitive edge in the fast-paced blockchain markets. Furthermore, Aave serves as Galaxy’s credit facility, with its thriving lending pools supporting flexible credit and bridge loans. The blockchain’s accommodative interest rate mechanism allows the company to manage borrowing costs according to…
