BTS is back together and working on new music, and fans may only have to wait a few months before they hear from the South Korean boy band once more. For several years, the group was on hiatus as the members fulfilled their mandatory military enlistment, required of all men in the country. In between serving their nation, the singers and rappers all released solo projects and continued to share tunes under their own names, and some are still doing so, even as the outfit prepares for what’s next.
J-Hope is back with a new bestseller this frame, one that pairs him with one of the most exciting girl groups in K-pop. The quick smash brings him into the top 10 on iTunes – multiple times.
J-Hope Misses No. 1 By One Spot
J-Hope joins Le Sserafim on the track “Spaghetti.” Two takes of the cut are already bestsellers in America, with the original collaboration currently appearing at No. 2 on the iTunes Top Songs chart — the ranking of the bestselling individual cuts across the country on the hugely important platform. An English version appears just a few spots further down, at No. 6 as of the time of writing.
Who Keeps J-Hope from No. 1? Megan Thee Stallion’s Latest Single
Only one single currently beats Le Sserafim and J-Hope, though the K-pop superstars could easily hit No. 1 in the coming hours. Megan Thee Stallion returns this Friday with her new single “Lover Girl.” As is the case with “Spaghetti,” multiple versions of “Lover Girl” appear in the highest reaches of the iTunes Top Songs list, with one sitting at No. 1 while another hovers just outside the top 20.

“Spaghetti” is, for now, only featured on what’s known in K-pop as a single album. The two-track project essentially has an A-side and a B-side, with the J-Hope collaboration serving as the focus while “Pearlies (My Oyster Is the World)” is also available. A digital version of the short set offers one take that only includes Le Sserafim without J-Hope, as well as the English version.
Ejae From KPop Demon Hunters Joins J-Hope and Le Sserafim
Only a handful of artists claim more than one spot inside the highest tier of the iTunes Top Songs chart. Le Sserafim and J-Hope are joined by Ejae, who recently became a star thanks to her work on Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters. She is credited both as a soloist and as part of the faux girl group Huntr/x on “Golden,” one of the biggest hits of the year, which currently sits at No. 5 after being pushed down by multiple debuts. Ejae took this moment in the spotlight to release a solo cut, “In Another World,” which lands at No. 10 on the competitive ranking.
What Are J-Hope’s Most Recent Solo Releases?
“Spaghetti” marks J-Hope’s fifth song released this year. He joined Don Toliver, Pharrell Williams, and Speedy on “LV Bag,” which arrived in February. Since then, he’s also returned with “Sweet Dreams,” a collaboration with Miguel, as well as his own “Mona Lisa” and “Killin’ It Girl” with rapper GloRilla. So far, none of these tunes have been attached to a larger project. J-Hope last released his EP Hope on the Street, Vol. 1 in March 2024, and fans have been wondering if a follow-up is in the works.
Le Sserafim’s 2025 Has Been Packed with New Music
Le Sserafim dropped an EP titled Hot back in March of this year. The short effort cracked the top 10 on the Billboard 200, where it peaked at No. 9, adding to the girl group’s growing list of top performers. A compilation titled Easy-Crazy-Hot, which collects three previous EPs of those names, also reached several Billboard rankings just last month.
