Built for Real Life: How Amanda Tirado Designs Wellness for the Hustle, Not Just the Highlights

Most people don’t think twice about their vitamins until they realize they are not working. Swallow a pill, chew a gummy, hope for the best. The wellness industry is packed with promises, but few products meet the pace and pressure of real life.

At just 27, Amanda Lorena Tirado is flipping the wellness script. No sugar-laced gummies. No Instagram-friendly nonsense. Just clean, fast, science-backed support for people who don’t have time for the fluff.

Raised in a Cuban-American household where health was always a priority, Amanda’s path began not in business school, but in the world of healthcare. Her work as an occupational therapist and a background in fitness gave her a unique view into how real people struggle to keep up with their health, and how most products weren’t designed to truly help.

She was introduced to oral strip technology through one of the top manufacturers in the space. It was not flashy, but it was fast. These thin dissolvable strips bypass the digestive system entirely, delivering nutrients straight into the bloodstream. The science was there. What was missing was someone to make it accessible, and that’s where Amanda stepped in.

She launched Xmy, a brand built around a simple idea: wellness should be effective, easy, and made for everyday use. No fancy routines, no complicated directions, just grab a strip, place it on your tongue, and go. What began with a focus on energy, sleep, and beauty soon expanded. Her latest creation? Hydra Leaf™, a dissolvable strip that transforms mushroom coffee into something portable and potent, no brewing required.

Getting here was not smooth. Amanda had no prior experience in consumer products. She faced challenges with formulation, sourcing, and educating a market that had never seen a supplement like this before. People didn’t just need to be sold, they needed to be convinced. And that required grit, patience, and a lot of late nights.

One of the biggest lessons she learned early: you can’t do it alone. Trying to manage every part of the business herself almost burned her out. But once she began leaning on mentors, trusting her team, and focusing on her strengths, things started to click. What kept her going was the impact, seeing people who hated swallowing pills finally stick to their wellness routines, or hearing from customers with chronic conditions who found relief in the simplicity of her strips.

Amanda’s approach is rooted in realism. She is not selling overnight transformation, she is building products that fit into people’s lives, no matter how busy or messy they are. Her ingredients are backed by research, every batch is third-party tested, and she is rolling out packaging that links directly to lab results via QR code.

As a Latina entrepreneur in a space dominated by established players, she knows what it’s like to be underestimated. But she doesn’t let it slow her down. Her background gives her a deeper connection to her audience and a fire to make wellness more inclusive, more transparent, and more human.

Looking ahead, Amanda’s got big plans. She is exploring how her strip technology can be used to deliver medications for people who have sensory or physical challenges with pills. She is expanding into stress support and mental wellness. And through it all, she is staying true to her mission: to make health simple, effective, and accessible, without sacrificing quality.

Amanda Tirado is building tools for people who live in the real world, where energy runs low, sleep is scattered, and taking care of yourself has to fit between meetings and meals. She is not here to sell perfection. She is here to build wellness that works, quietly, boldly, and for real life.

Coinbase CEO Ends Speculation on NBA Star Kevin Durant’s Blocked Bitcoin Account

The post Coinbase CEO Ends Speculation on NBA Star Kevin Durant’s Blocked Bitcoin Account appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. This week, Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong confirmed that Kevin Durant had regained access to a Coinbase account that he had opened almost 10 years ago. This puts an end to the speculation surrounding the NBA star’s supposed permanent lockout. Durant first entered the market in late 2016, when Bitcoin was trading at around $650. The largest cryptocurrency now changes hands at around $117,000, representing an increase of around 180 times since his initial purchases.  Over the past five years alone, Bitcoin’s price has increased by more than 950%, turning initial investments into multimillion-dollar holdings. The account issue arose during a discussion at CNBC’s Game Plan conference in Los Angeles. Durant’s business partner Rich Kleiman said his client had been unable to log in for years. Hours later, Armstrong addressed the matter directly on social media, writing that the recovery process had been completed. NBA star becomes major U.S. exchange investor Durant’s connection to Coinbase goes beyond a user account. In 2017, he and Kleiman added Coinbase to the portfolio of their 35V investment firm. Four years later, the two companies signed a marketing agreement, making Durant one of the company’s public ambassadors.  Despite these ties, he was unable to access Bitcoin purchased prior to the partnership and investment. The scale of the numbers involved puts the recovery in perspective. A $10,000 Bitcoin investment at Durant’s entry price would now be worth almost $1.8 million. Even a single coin purchased in 2016 would now be worth more than $116,000. Durant, who is set to play in the upcoming NBA season with the Houston Rockets, has now regained direct control of assets acquired almost 10 years ago.
