Inszone Insurance Services Acquires Shahinian Insurance Services, Inc.

SACRAMENTO, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#agencyacquisition–Inszone Insurance Services, a rapidly growing national provider of commercial, personal, and benefits insurance, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Shahinian Insurance Services, Inc., a California-based agency with a 50-year legacy of specialized insurance programs and nationwide reach.

Founded in 1974 by Edward Shahinian, the agency was transformed in the early 1990s when his daughter, Liz Shahinian, joined the business and expanded its operational capabilities. After Edward’s passing in 2005, Liz took full ownership and continued to grow the firm—developing a national reputation for her program expertise, particularly in event liability, vendor programs, and specialty markets across all 50 states.

Over the years, Shahinian Insurance has built a robust portfolio insuring kiosk operators, vendors at festivals and trade shows, and organizers of community events nationwide. The agency also offers unique coverage for exotic animal handlers, educators, and specialty entertainment providers. To streamline compliance and create consistency for clients and carriers, Liz established a risk purchasing group more than 25 years ago—one that has remained a hallmark of the agency’s efficiency and scale.

“When we began considering a transition, we wanted a partner who understood our programs and could offer an even broader platform for our clients and employees,” said Liz Shahinian. “Chris and the Inszone team made the process straightforward, and their resources and carrier access open new opportunities for everyone involved.”

“Liz and her team have created something truly exceptional,” said Chris Walters, CEO of Inszone Insurance Services. “Their specialty programs, national reach, and decades of experience make them an excellent fit for Inszone. We’re excited to support their continued growth and welcome them to Inszone.”

Shahinian Insurance will continue operations now supported by Inszone’s national platform, providing greater resources, market access, and operational support to both the agency’s staff and its nationwide clientele.
