Binance Suspends Ethereum Deposits Tomorrow: What’s Happening?

Binance informs the Ethereum network of wallet maintenance on December 25. One hour of the suspension of deposits and withdrawals will commence at 05:55 UTC.

Binance has declared planned wallet upkeep of its Ethereum network. The exchange will freeze deposits and withdrawals on December 25, beginning at 06:00 UTC.

Deposit and withdrawal services will be closed five minutes earlier at 05:55 UTC. The operations restart after the maintenance is done.

Trading Continues Despite Network Pause

The trading of Ethereum tokens continues during the maintenance period. Users are able to make trades continuously. Only deposit and withdrawal are impacted by the suspension.

Binance predicts that the maintenance will take about one hour. The exchange will resume services at the point of network stability, and no new announcement will be made after resumption.

Exchange Handles Technical Requirements Automatically

All technical operations are handled internally by Binance, and therefore, users do not need to take any action. The platform makes it easy to manage backend requirements.

The exchange stressed that it is standard wallet maintenance. This is a periodic maintenance of different networks. Binance implements such updates to preserve the integrity of the system.

The maximum reopening time is defined by network stability. The exchange observes the state and then restores complete functionality. Upon verification of optimal performance, services are returned.

What users should know.

Deposits placed prior to 05:55 UTC can be delayed. Transaction planning must be done by the users. The withdrawals requested following the suspension will be executed after maintenance.

The notification is applicable worldwide to all Binance users. There can be regional differences in service. The authoritative version is the English version.

Binance performs routine maintenance on various blockchain platforms. Such updates are secure and efficient. The exchange is focused on minimal disturbance during scheduled outages.

It is recommended that users follow official channels at Binance. The support services update via approved communication channels. Exchange is transparent during maintenance.
