Box trucks double-parked in bike lanes. Tractor-trailers threading the BQE at 2 a.m. Delivery vans reversing into loading zones with the beeper drowned out by a siren two blocks over.

Every one of those routine moments is a claim waiting to happen. And when it happens, the legal fallout looks nothing like a fender-bender between two commuters.
