MANILA, Philippines – The Supreme Court and the Amended Rules on Evidence allow the use of photocopies as evidence.

The issue on the use of photocopies came to light during the second day of Vice President Sara Duterte’s impeachment trial after the defense team questioned the prosecution’s evidence. But in so far as the jurisprudence and rules are concerned, this is a settled issue.
