RHR taps Duty Free loyalty program to widen customer reach

ROBINSONS Hotels and Resorts (RHR), the hospitality arm of Robinsons Land Corp. (RLC), has partnered with Duty Free Philippines (DFP) to offer hotel discounts to members of the state-run retailer’s loyalty program as it seeks to expand customer reach across its nationwide portfolio.

Under the partnership, members of DFP’s Balikbayan Plus Card and Premier Club Card programs will gain access to special room rates at participating RHR properties.

“At Robinsons Hotels and Resorts, we continuously seek meaningful partnerships that support the growth of tourism while enabling us to offer more targeted value, including special perks for Duty Free Philippines loyalty members,” RHR Senior Vice-President and Business Unit General Manager Barun Jolly said in a statement on Monday.

Mr. Jolly said the partnership would also help introduce more travelers to the group’s portfolio of hotel brands and destinations.

DFP Chief Operating Officer Joel M. Cinco said the partnership expands the range of benefits available to the retailer’s loyalty program members.

“This alliance strengthens our loyalty program by expanding the range of exclusive perks available to our Balikbayan Plus Cardholders and Premier Club Cardholders — specifically, access to special rates at participating properties of Robinsons Hotels and Resorts,” Mr. Cinco said.

Participating properties include RHR’s Grand Summit Hotels, Summit Hotels and Resorts, Go Hotels, and Go Hotels Plus brands, as well as Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria and Holiday Inn Manila Galleria.

RHR is the hotel operating unit of Robinsons Land, which has been expanding its hospitality portfolio alongside its residential, office, retail, and mixed-use developments. — ALB
