ABC is calling on its army of "The View" fans to check President Donald Trump's Federal Communications Commission, according to reports on Monday.
The network released a new video urging viewers of the long-running talk show to fight back against the Trump administration and agency, which has launched a probe against the talk show, The Daily Beast reported.

"The government body launched an investigation into the popular daytime talk show, which is co-hosted by Trump critics Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Ana Navarro, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, and former Trump aide Alyssa Farah Griffin, over the 'equal time' rule that requires Democratic and Republican candidates to have equal airtime," according to The Beast.
In a video produced by ABC, the appeal to the audience starts with the daytime show's creator, the late legendary journalist Barbara Walters, describing why she started the television program.
"I had this idea for a show: Different women, different points of view," Walters said in the narrated clip.
"The View has welcomed your favorite guests and covered the issues you care about for nearly 30 years. Now, the FCC wants to control who is allowed to appear on the show. Viewers, use your voice, scan this QR code. You have until July 6th," the video message read.
Viewers can use the QR code to leave a comment or express concerns on the FCC website. Comments on the "Express Comment" page will be "filed into the official FCC proceeding" and "will be publicly available via the web."
The probe started in February, and the current co-hosts have not mentioned it on-air, The Beast reported.
Last week, the co-hosts grilled Vice President JD Vance during a tense standoff while the Trump official promoted his new book and discussed ongoing topics involving the administration.
