The Canadian Salsa Festivals Project (CSFP) has announced its expanded 2026 season, running from June through September, featuring a dynamic lineup of festivals and programs across Ontario and Quebec. The highlight of this year’s slate is the inaugural Salsa at Niagara Falls, set for September 12 and 13, marking the festival’s first expansion into one of Canada’s most iconic tourism destinations.

Organized in partnership with Niagara Falls Tourism, the Niagara Parks Commission, and Fallsview Casino Resort, Salsa at Niagara Falls aims to bring vibrant Latin music, dance, and food to the region. Adam Stiles, Interim President and CEO of Niagara Falls Tourism, said in a statement, ‘Salsa at Niagara Falls is exactly the kind of vibrant, world-class event our destination is made for, it’s a perfect addition to our September calendar for the next several years.’

The CSFP also welcomes expanded support from longtime festival sponsor TD Bank Group, which has grown its title sponsorship to include Salsa Tremblant in Quebec’s Laurentians region, while renewing as title sponsor of TD Salsa on St. Clair in Toronto and TD Salsa at Blue Mountain in Collingwood. Robyn Small, Senior Manager of Philanthropy and Corporate Citizenship at TD Bank Group, noted, ‘Festivals like TD Salsa on St. Clair bring people together to celebrate what shapes us — our stories, food, music, and art.’

Returning festivals include TD Salsa at Blue Mountain from June 26 to 28, which kicks off the summer season with a weekend of Latin culture in the Blue Mountain Village. Patti Kendall, President of the Blue Mountain Village Association, highlighted the event’s economic impact, stating, ‘Salsa at Blue is a highly anticipated event that brings vibrant Latin energy to the Village, kicking off our summer festival season.’

TD Salsa on St. Clair, Canada’s largest free Latin-themed street festival, returns July 11 and 12 in Toronto’s Hillcrest Village. The festival will feature over 350 live performers, headliners including JUNO nominee Andy Rubal and award-winning Latin/tropical artist Yani Borrell, the Fiesta Parade presented by Lenpanada, and more than 35 authentic Latin food vendors representing over 15 countries. Free dance lessons will be offered across Southern Ontario from May through August.

TD Salsa Tremblant returns for its third year from August 21 to 23, transforming the Tremblant Pedestrian Village into a showcase of Latin life. Nicolas Dien, Event Director of the Tremblant Resort Association, said, ‘This event perfectly embodies Tremblant’s DNA — a vibrant, welcoming destination where music, dance, and nature come together.’

The season also includes the Vibrante Latin Art Exhibition from June 6 to July 12 at Toronto’s Little EGG Gallery, featuring emerging Latino artists under 18; Salsa on Market Street on August 9 in Toronto’s Old Town; and family salsa dance lessons at Toronto museums from August through October.

TLN Media Group, the founder and longstanding official media partner of Salsa in Toronto, has championed the festival’s growth from a local street celebration into a nationally recognized cultural platform. Aldo Di Felice, President and Managing Partner of TLN Media Group, emphasized the festival’s impact: ‘Salsa in Toronto has become one of Canada’s premier cultural celebrations, bringing together hundreds of thousands of people each year while showcasing the power of music, culture, and community to create meaningful social and economic impact across Ontario and beyond.’

The Salsa Festival series is founded by TLN Media Group and produced by the Canadian Salsa Festivals Project, a federally incorporated not-for-profit organization. For more information, visit salsaintoronto.com.
