Da Nang Positions Itself as a Web3 Hub Through Unchained Summit

Government leaders, regulators and global Web3 firms convene in Da Nang, May 28–29, to address digital asset frameworks, institutional adoption and Southeast Asia expansion

Tuesday, May 4, 2026, Dubai, UAE: Unchained Summit Vietnam will take place on May 28–29, 2026, at the Furama Resort in Da Nang, bringing together government officials, regulators, institutional investors and global Web3 leaders to discuss the future of digital assets in Southeast Asia.

A key highlight of the summit is the participation of the State Securities Commission (SSC) of Vietnam. Mr. To Tran Hoa, Permanent Deputy Head of the Crypto Asset Market Supervision Department, will share insights into Vietnam’s ongoing efforts to develop a structured and well-regulated digital asset market, including key considerations around supervision, licensing, and market stability.

The event will also feature Mr. Ho Quang Buu, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People’s Committee, alongside senior representatives from the Da Nang Department of Science and Technology. Their participation reflects Da Nang’s growing role as a regional hub for digital asset innovation and policy development.

The combined presence of local government leadership and national regulators positions the Vietnam edition as a platform for direct engagement between policymakers and market participants, at a time when Vietnam ranks among the world’s most active digital asset adoption markets.

The summit will host more than 70 speakers across government, exchanges, financial institutions and infrastructure providers.
