HMRC sent 81,000 crypto tax letters over the past 12 months, up 25% from around 65,000, and estimates that its crypto compliance and education efforts generated an additional £168 million in capital gains tax during 2024-25. According to Odaily Planet Daily, Europe’s digital currency market is developing into a dual-track system in which the central bank digital euro and privately issued euro stablecoins are progressing in parallel. Revolut has already launched phased testing of EURR in Denmark, Poland, and Portugal. The euro stablecoin runs on Ethereum and is issued by Stripe-owned Bridge Building. Meanwhile, the ECB has emphasized that the digital euro will feature a high level of privacy, with offline payment information accessible only to the parties involved. Europe is advancing both public digital money and private stablecoins to strengthen its digital payments infrastructure and reduce reliance on dollar stablecoins and non-European payment networks.
According to Odaily Planet Daily, the team behind the Zcash full-node client Zakura has released Zakura Common, a library providing cryptographic and protocol functionality for the Zcash ecosystem. Official benchmarks show that mobile proof generation is more than 14 times faster, desktop performance is more than 5 times faster, Sinsemilla hashing is more than 21 times faster, trial decryption is over 1.5 times faster, and zk-SNARK verification is 4 to 8 times faster. In many cases, wallet transaction creation time can be reduced from more than 3 seconds to under 200 milliseconds. The upgrade requires no network upgrade and is open-sourced under dual MIT/Apache 2.0 licenses.
According to DefiLlama, Pons generated $693,125 in revenue over the past 24 hours, ranking eighth among protocols and surpassing Polymarket at $635,221 and fomo at $646,539, while remaining just behind Hyperliquid at $758,325. Short-term protocol revenue rankings reflect current fee-capture capacity and user trading activity across different on-chain applications. Pons entering the top ten shows that its revenue scale has approached that of several established prediction-market and trading protocols, although 24-hour data remains highly volatile and its ability to maintain this level will depend on sustained trading demand.
According to GMGN data, Robinhood ecosystem Meme token MOO has surpassed a $5 million market cap and is currently valued at $5.4 million, with a 24H gain of 931%. MOO is a RH-chain stock Meme token with the MOO/MU trading pair and is directly paired with tokenized Micron stock on Robinhood Chain. The rapid increase in price and market capitalization reflects trading interest around the combination of tokenized equities and Meme assets, although low-cap assets of this type generally carry higher volatility and are more sensitive to liquidity, holder concentration, and short-term capital flows.

Recently, users should remain alert to wallet-approval phishing and professional Drainer attacks. Cases disclosed by Chainalysis in August show that attackers may use fake Web3 websites, social media accounts, or fraudulent campaigns to trick users into connecting wallets and signing malicious approvals. Once assets are stolen, funds may be rapidly moved through cross-chain bridges, intermediary wallets, and asset swaps. These attacks do not always require private-key theft; a single malicious signature can be enough to transfer tokens. Users should carefully verify domains and contract addresses, avoid unfamiliar airdrop, customer-support, or social-media links, remain cautious with unknown Approve or Permit requests, regularly revoke unused contract permissions, and keep large holdings separated from everyday interaction wallets.
