How to Transfer Crypto from BitMart to Another Exchange Before It Shuts Down?
- BitMart announced its shutdown on July 26, 2026: all trading ends at 01:00 UTC on August 26, 2026, and the platform closes on January 31, 2027.
- Submit your withdrawal requests before 05:00 UTC on August 26, 2026, the cutoff BitMart itself recommends.
- New spot orders are being phased out, so plan to withdraw each asset as it is instead of converting it first.
- Before withdrawing, finish KYC, cancel open orders, close futures positions, redeem Earn balances and download your records.
- On MEXC, generate a deposit address for each token, match the network exactly, include any required memo or tag, and pay no deposit fees.
- Identified U.S. accounts have an earlier deadline: BitMart asked them to exit by 23:59 UTC on August 8, 2026.
BitMart Shutdown Timeline: The Deadlines You Cannot Afford to Miss
Date and time (UTC) | What changes | What to do by then |
Jul 26, 2026, 01:30 | New registrations, deposits and new trading orders suspended; futures switch to reduce-only; copy trading, grid trading and API services phased out | Stop sending any funds to BitMart and start your exit plan |
Aug 8, 2026, 23:59 | Deadline in BitMart's separate July 23 notice for identified U.S. accounts | U.S. users: close positions and withdraw everything before this |
Aug 26, 2026, 01:00 | All spot, futures and other trading services end; open futures positions may be settled at mark price, index price or applicable rules | Cancel all orders and close every position well before this |
Aug 26, 2026, 05:00 | Recommended cutoff for submitting withdrawal requests | Have every withdrawal request already submitted |
Jan 31, 2027, 15:59 | Platform officially ceases operations, with a limited login window afterwards | Be fully off the platform long before this date |
Before You Withdraw: A Six-Step Checklist
- Review your balances, then complete or update identity verification and security settings. BitMart warns that withdrawals can trigger KYC, device and address reviews, so finish verification before you submit anything.
- Cancel all outstanding orders. Anything left open will eventually be cancelled by the system, but doing it yourself keeps your balances clean and countable.
- Close all futures positions well before 01:00 UTC on August 26, 2026. Positions still open at the halt may be settled by the platform at mark price or index price under rules it will announce separately.
- Redeem eligible Earn, Staking, Lending and Launchpad balances. These products wind down on their own schedules, communicated through dedicated announcements, so check each one rather than assuming a single date.
- Download your deposit history, withdrawal history and trading records. You will want them for taxes and record keeping, and access after January 31, 2027 is limited to a login window BitMart has not fully defined.
- Do not send new deposits to BitMart. The notice states that deposits made after suspension may never be credited.

Networks, Memos and Fees: Get the Transfer Details Right

USDT | TRC20, ERC20, BEP20 and others; confirm the live list on the MEXC deposit page | Not required | Free | Fee and minimum shown per network at the withdrawal screen |
BTC | Bitcoin mainnet; confirm any additional networks in the app | Not required | Free | Fee and minimum shown at the withdrawal screen |
ETH | ERC20 mainnet; confirm supported networks in the app | Not required | Free | Fee and minimum shown at the withdrawal screen |
XRP | XRP Ledger | Required: destination tag | Free | Copy both the address and the tag exactly |
TON, EOS and similar | Native networks | Required: memo | Free | A missing memo means the deposit cannot be credited |
Small-cap tokens | Usually a single network; verify the contract address matches MEXC's listing | Varies | Free | Check the token is listed on MEXC before withdrawing |
