MEXC MarketLens: Privacy Coins and RWA Tokens Pull Back as BTC Exchange Inflows Rise (May 25 to May 31)

Privacy coins and RWA tokens posted the largest declines among calculable MarketLens baskets for May 25 to May 31. The Privacy basket fell 11.14%, led lower by ZEC’s 13.97% weekly decline, while the RWA basket declined 6.42%, with ONDO down 17.12%. Gaming was the only calculable basket with a positive weekly move, rising 0.46%.

Sector changes are calculated as market-cap weighted average changes of valid tokens in each fixed MarketLens basket. Only baskets with sufficient weekly price and market-cap coverage are shown.

Gaming was the only calculable basket to finish higher this week, supported by APE’s 2.99% move. L1 ex-BTC showed a smaller basket-level decline as BNB rose 8.43%, partly offsetting declines in ETH, SOL, ADA and AVAX.

Privacy coins showed the largest basket-level pullback, with ZEC and DASH both falling by double digits. RWA also declined, mainly driven by ONDO’s 17.12% weekly drop.

Capital Flow: BTC Exchange Inflows Increase

BTC exchange netflow showed a 16,791.93 BTC inflow, up from the prior week’s 12,114.33 BTC inflow. BTC exchange reserves also increased by 16,791.93 BTC. ETH exchange netflow remained negative, with outflows widening from the prior week.

Stablecoin total supply fell 0.86% to $319.87B, down by $2.77B from the prior week.

Total open interest stood at $118.33B in the latest futures snapshot. BTC funding rate was positive at 0.5769%.
