The parent company of Irish pub company McGettigan’ is acquiring Bla Bla Dubai, as it expands its portfolio across the UAE.

Vision Hospitality will buy the club located at the Jumerirah Beach Residence, which has received more than two million guests since it launched in 2021.

“Our priority is to build on the strong foundation already in place and continue investing in the experience to ensure Bla Bla by McGettigan’s remains at the forefront of Dubai’s nightlife and leisure market,” said Dennis McGettigan, Founder and CEO of Vision Hospitality.

The value or details of the deal were not given.

McGettigan’s operates one pub each in Ajman and Fujairah and seven pubs across Dubai.

Bla Bla has 21 bars and a restaurant, offering a “day-to-night experience” spanning beach club, dining, nightlife and live entertainment.

The completion of the deal comes as analysts told AGBI that UAE hospitality groups are bracing for a significant drop in revenue as conflict in the Middle East shakes traveller confidence.
