A Minnesota school's chilling warning to parents sparked outrage on Thursday from observers who accused the Trump administration's immigration agents of stopping at nothing to "inflict cruelty and suffering."

On Thursday, Anne Sullivan STEAM School in Minneapolis sent out a dark warning to parents and faculty as President Donald Trump's immigration crackdown leads to fierce backlash and escalating protests.

"Hello Sullivan Families, we have learned that ICE is sending out flyers offering food support to families. For your safety, do not respond to these offers. If your family is in need of support, please contact the school and we will connect you with one of our School Social Workers," the message said.

Steve McPherson, a writer and guitar teacher, shared the message on Bluesky and tore into the Trump administration.

"There is no level to which these heartless s--t-for-brains won't stoop to inflict cruelty and suffering," he wrote.

McPherson said the message came from the middle school's Signal chat, sent via Talking Points and confirmed by the school's administration.

"‬This is the end stage of capitalism/fascism i hope we survive," lamented the Bluesky user arcadus.

"There is no reforming this. No amount of 'training' is going to change who they are," ‪wrote user Chris Weatherly.

The user meehawl called it, "Predator behavior."

Trump deployed approximately 2,000 Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Border Patrol agents to Minneapolis in what the Department of Homeland Security called its largest operation ever. The crackdown escalated dramatically after an ICE agent fatally shot 37-year-old Renee Good on Jan. 7, sparking widespread protests and national outrage.

Public backlash has been severe, with recent polling showing 52-57% of Americans disapprove of ICE, with a plurality supporting abolishing the agency entirely.
