Humain, the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF) artificial intelligence company, is partnering with US chip maker Nvidia to launch robotaxis in the Middle East.

The collaboration will help enable the infrastructure, intelligence and operational scale required for level-four-ready autonomous transportation across Saudi Arabia, Humain said in a social media post.

“Autonomous mobility will become one of the defining AI platforms of the next decade,” said Tareq Amin, CEO of Humain.

Last week, Nvidia unveiled an expansion of its Drive Hyperion robotaxi platform, enabling ride-hailing providers to build and expand level-four-ready robotaxi fleets.

Level four vehicles are driverless, with no human driver. The system can perform all driving tasks, including steering, braking and navigation, but only within a geofenced area.

In December 2025, Humain received a shipment of Nvidia’s latest artificial intelligence chips to accelerate plans to build data centres in Saudi Arabia.

The National Infrastructure Fund and Humain signed a financing agreement in January of up to $1.2 billion to support the expansion of AI and digital infrastructure in the kingdom.
