Key Takeaways
About $178.7 million in tokens are scheduled to unlock from October 26 to November 1, 2026, according to DefiLlama, including $72.9 million in one-time cliff unlocks. That is lighter than last week.
Falcon Finance (FF) leads the cliff unlocks with about 211 million tokens worth roughly $20.7 million on October 29, equal to about 6.6% of its circulating supply.
GateToken (GT) releases about $65.4 million worth of tokens on October 26, but that is only about 0.5% of its total supply.
Collector Crypt (CARDS) and Vultisig (VULT) face the largest releases relative to their size, at about 9.6% of circulating supply and 40% of market value.
The unlocks land during Fed week, with a $12.2 billion Bitcoin options expiry on October 30, so market conditions may matter as much as the unlocks themselves.
Another week, another round of token unlocks. Between October 26 and November 1, 2026, more than 15 projects will release previously locked tokens to investors, team members, foundations and community funds. DefiLlama shows about $178.68 million in unlocks over the next seven days as of October 25, made up of $72.9 million in cliff unlocks and $105.77 million in linear releases.
That is a quieter week than the one before, when DefiLlama tracked about $236 million. But timing matters. Bitcoin is trading near $80,300 after dipping to about $79,100 on Saturday, and the Federal Reserve announces its rate decision on October 28. In a cautious market, even smaller unlocks can weigh on prices.
Here is this week's token unlock schedule, the biggest events to watch and what they could mean for traders on MEXC.

The Biggest Token Unlocks to Watch This Week
1. Falcon Finance (FF): About $20.7 Million on October 29
Falcon Finance will unlock about 211 million FF on October 29, worth roughly $20.7 million and equal to about 6.62% of circulating supply, according to Tokenomist data reported by PANews. Tokenomics.com shows that about 39.4% of the release goes to the community, 28.4% to the foundation, 26.3% to insiders and 5.9% to private investors.
FF's monthly unlocks have often been followed by weakness. According to Tokenomics.com, the token fell as much as 14.2% within 14 days of its September 29 unlock and as much as 27.1% after its May 29 unlock. Follow the price on the FF/USDT trading page.
2. GateToken (GT): Big in Dollars, Small in Supply
GateToken has the largest unlock by dollar value this week, at about $65.4 million on October 26, according to Bitcoin Sistemi. However, Tokenomics.com shows the release is only about 1.5 million GT, or 0.5% of total supply, split between the community (66.7%) and the foundation (33.3%). With no investor or team allocation in this release, the direct selling risk looks limited.
3. Grass (GRASS): About $21.5 Million on October 28
Grass, a decentralized network that rewards users for sharing unused internet bandwidth to collect AI training data, will unlock about $21.5 million worth of tokens on October 28, equal to about 4.51% of its market value, according to Bitcoin Sistemi's weekly schedule.
4. Collector Crypt (CARDS) and Kamino (KMNO) on October 30
Collector Crypt will release about 59.26 million CARDS on October 30, worth about $18.4 million and equal to 9.60% of circulating supply. That makes it one of the largest unlocks of the week relative to supply. Solana lending protocol Kamino releases about 229 million KMNO the same day, worth about $9.1 million, or 2.73% of circulating supply.
Both unlocks land on the same day as a $12.2 billion Bitcoin options expiry on Deribit at 08:00 UTC, which could add to volatility.
5. Sui (SUI), EigenCloud (EIGEN) and Kite (KITE) on November 1
The week ends with three unlocks:
Sui (SUI): about 13.15 million tokens worth about $12 million, just 0.32% of circulating supply.
EigenCloud (EIGEN): about 36.82 million tokens worth about $7.3 million, or 4.93% of circulating supply. DefiLlama lists the date as October 31.
Kite (KITE): about $12.2 million, or 4.25% of market value.
Small-Cap Unlocks With Outsized Supply Shocks
The most extreme releases this week involve tiny tokens. Vultisig (VULT) will unlock about 40.07% of its market value on October 27, while Sign (SIGN) releases about 12.63% of its released supply and Corn (CORN) about 11.69% of its market value on October 28. The dollar amounts are small, but releases this large can cause sharp moves in thin order books.
How This Week's Unlocks Fit the Market
Unlocks matter more when demand is weak. Bitcoin fell about 1.95% last week and dipped to about $79,100 on Saturday, while several altcoins posted double-digit losses, including Hedera (HBAR) at about 13.5% and Avalanche (AVAX) at about 9.7%. US spot Bitcoin ETFs lost about $773.5 million on October 22 and 23.
This week also brings the Fed decision on October 28, US GDP and PCE inflation data on October 29 and the options expiry on October 30. If those events push markets lower, tokens with large unlocks could fall further. If the Fed sounds patient and risk appetite returns, some unlocks could pass quietly, especially for tokens that already sold off ahead of the release.
How to Trade Token Unlocks on MEXC
Token unlocks are public and scheduled, so traders can plan ahead:
Check the recipients: Releases to investors and insiders carry more selling risk than community or foundation allocations.
Compare size to supply: Focus on unlocks above 3% to 5% of circulating supply.
Use stop-loss orders: MEXC's TP/SL tools help limit losses if an unlock triggers a sudden drop.
Hedge carefully: Experienced traders sometimes use MEXC Futures to hedge spot positions, but leverage adds risk.
Track the calendar: Check our weekly token unlock tracker every Monday.
Conclusion: A Lighter Unlock Week in a Heavy Macro Week
This week's unlocks are smaller than last week's, led by Falcon Finance, GateToken and Grass. The GT release looks large but is mostly a small community and foundation allocation, while FF, CARDS and a handful of small caps carry more meaningful supply risk.
The bigger driver may be macro. With the Fed decision, PCE data and a $12.2 billion options expiry all landing within three days, market direction could decide whether these unlocks pass quietly or add to selling pressure. Mark the dates, watch vesting wallets and keep your risk management tight.
