The MEXC Global Card is MEXC's second Visa card, launched on August 31, 2026.
It sits alongside the original MEXC Card, which remains available in selected Asia-Pacific markets, and the MEXC × ether.fi co-branded card.

Where Is the MEXC Global Card Available?
MEXC offers the Global Card in more than 100 countries and regions, the full list is shown on the MEXC Card application page.
If your proof of address (POA) comes from one of them, you can apply, and the restricted list further down this page shows where applications are not accepted.
Eligibility Is Based on the Country of Your Proof of Address (POA)
The country that counts is the one that issued your address document.
A resident of Taiwan applying with a Taiwanese address document meets that requirement.
The reverse also holds: a proof of address from a restricted country cannot be used.
MEXC checks the country on your proof of address (POA).
The rule is not arbitrary, and knowing why it exists explains why these country lists move around at all.
Every card program runs on a BIN, the number range that tells the Visa network which institution stands behind the card.
The institution sponsoring that BIN can only take on customers in the markets its card program is set up to reach, and that perimeter is drawn by address, because address is what payment compliance systems use to place a customer in a jurisdiction.
An exchange cannot widen that perimeter by wanting to.

The original MEXC Card did not disappear when the Global Card launched.
It is still open in four markets: Taiwan, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.
It uses its own named country list because it runs on a separate card program.
The two cards differ in more than coverage.
The APAC card supports Google Pay only, while the Global Card works with both Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Neither card charges a crypto conversion fee; the APAC card charges no transaction fee, while the Global Card charges 1% (promotional rates shown on the MEXC Card page take priority).
On a cross-border purchase the APAC card adds a 1% foreign exchange fee on top of the Visa rate, while the Global Card adds no markup.
At standard rates, that makes the two cost the same on non-USD purchases, while the APAC card is cheaper on purchases made in USD.
Spending limits differ as well.
The APAC card allows up to 50,000 USD per transaction and 50,000 USD per day, with an annual ceiling of 1,000,000 USD and caps of 50 transactions a day and 1,040 a year.
The Global Card allows up to 80,000 USD per transaction and 1,000,000 USD per day.

The Three Things You Submit
Advanced KYC on MEXC has two parts, both done on screen; the card application adds a third requirement — a proof of address (POA) from a country MEXC serves.
- Government-issued ID — a passport, national ID card or an equivalent document accepted in your country.
- Face recognition — a liveness check you complete in the MEXC App or on the website.
- Proof of address (POA) — the country on your proof of address has to be one MEXC serves, and MEXC may ask for the document itself.
The card application then asks for your contact details, your ID details and your residential address.
Entering your residential address is part of every application, and supporting documentation is requested when MEXC needs it.
Advanced KYC is usually reviewed within 24 hours, and you can start at the Advanced KYC page; the card application itself is usually reviewed within a few minutes.
What You Do Not Need to Provide
This is where the card parts company with most traditional card applications.

Nothing in the process looks at what you earn or what you owe.
It looks at who you are and where you live.
For anyone who has been turned down by a card issuer over a thin credit file, that is a meaningfully different bar.
How to Apply for the MEXC Global Card
The flow is the same on the website and in the App.
- Step 1 — Register and complete Advanced KYC. Create an MEXC account, then finish the ID, face and address verification described above.
- Step 2 — Open the card page. On the web, select MEXC Card under Buy Crypto in the top navigation; in the App, tap More, then MEXC Card under Finance.
- Step 3 — Find the Global Card and apply. Locate the black-and-gold card on the page and click Apply Now.
- Step 4 — Fund and activate if prompted. Some card products ask for an initial top-up before activation, and whatever you put in becomes your card balance; if the application is turned down, the full amount goes back to your account automatically.
- Step 5 — Submit your details. Enter your contact details, ID information and residential address, and check them carefully, because MEXC flags inaccurate information as a cause of review delays.
- Step 6 — Wait for approval, then fund the card. The review usually finishes within a few minutes, after which you can top up from your Fiat account and add the card to Apple Pay or Google Pay.

Virtual Card, Physical Card and Spending Currency
Virtual Now, Physical Later
The Global Card is a virtual card.
It is issued within minutes of approval and works online wherever Visa is accepted, apart from merchant categories MEXC does not support, and in person once you add it to Apple Pay or Google Pay.
There is no physical card in the near term.
A physical card needs an independent BIN plus the courier and customs handling that a virtual card does not, and MEXC has not announced a date for one.
What the Card Is Denominated In
The card is denominated in USD and funded with USDT.
When you pay, USDT is converted to cover the transaction, and the amount finally charged is calculated at the Visa exchange rate at settlement rather than the estimate shown at checkout.
That gap is also why a single purchase can occasionally produce two transaction records, one for the original amount and one for the rate difference.
Settlement usually takes one to three business days, though MEXC notes it can run to 30 in exceptional cases.
